My first experience in dolphin watching was when we took a three-day vacation in Bohol last year. Being able to watch the dolphins in the wild was exhilirating. It’s fascinating to see them live their life in the middle of the ocean, ~ play, feed and mate together with a group of friends.
I imagine what it must be like to go whale watching and see big ones like the humpback whale. It would be amazing to see them feed, specially since I’ve read that the pleats that run from the lower jaw to the navel allows its mouth to expand up to 4 times its usual size during feeding.
Naturally, you just don’t just book for experiences like this. You have to look for a reputable company that will not only give you the best whale watching adventure but will create one that will last a lifetime of memories.
There’s this one near Boston whale watching adventure company in Gloucester, Massachusetts that’s well established, family owned and operated. They can provide you with a whale watching experience you’ll never forget because they have years of experience in this business and vast knowledge of whales. They can explain spotting techniques, whale behavior, biology, and whale society very well. They also offer a free whale exhibit with a humpback skeleton in their gift shop.
Another nice thing about this company is that they have a premier location on Historic Harbor Loop. It greatly allows you to combine your trip to a visit to the Whale Center of New England, The Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center or access to the working waterfront. They are also near many shopping and dining establishments.
Who’s up for some whale watching?
